Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 31, 2026

These terms govern your use of FindAHorseShow.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with Find A Horse Show ("we", "us", "our").

1. Who you are contracting with

The Service is operated by Find A Horse Show, trading as FindAHorseShow.com. You can reach us at support@findahorseshow.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By continuing to access or use the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (a show committee, barn, or business), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. What the Service does

We provide a directory and calendar of horse shows, a directory of equine and show-adjacent service providers (veterinarians, farriers, hay suppliers, hotels, restaurants, tack stores, barn builders, and similar), and listings for horses offered for sale. Listing a horse show is free. Service provider listings require a paid subscription.

We are a listing platform. We do not organize shows, provide veterinary or farrier services, broker horse sales, or act as a party to any transaction between users. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, credentials, health or soundness of horses, or the suitability of any provider. Do your own due diligence.

4. Third-party listings, your dealings, and assumption of risk

The Service contains listings, descriptions, and contact information supplied by show organizers, service providers, and horse sellers. We do not organize, host, or operate any show, event, clinic, or competition. We do not provide veterinary care, farrier services, transportation, accommodation, or any of the services advertised. We do not broker, sell, warrant, inspect, or take custody of any horse listed for sale.

You deal directly with the listing party when you attend a show, hire a provider, purchase a horse, or rely on any listing content. We are not a party to, and have no responsibility for, any contract, transaction, or interaction between you and a listing party. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, the qualifications, licensing, or insurance of any provider, the condition, health, soundness, training, or suitability of any horse, the safety of any venue, or the compliance of any activity with applicable law. You are solely responsible for doing your own due diligence, inspections, and inquiries before engaging with any listing party or relying on any listing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and hold harmless Find A Horse Show, its owners, directors, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) any show, event, clinic, competition, or activity you attend that was listed on the Service; (b) any service you obtain from or through any provider listed on the Service; (c) any horse you purchase, inquire about, or interact with that is listed on the Service; (d) any contact, communication, agreement, or dispute between you and any listing party; or (e) any acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of any listing party, participant, spectator, animal, or third party. This release does not apply to claims based on fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Each show organizer, service provider, and horse seller listed on the Service is an independent third party. No listing party is our agent, employee, partner, or joint venturer, and nothing on the Service creates any such relationship. We do not control and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any listing party.

You acknowledge that horses are inherently dangerous animals and that equine activities — including handling, grooming, riding, training, trying, transporting, buying, or being near a horse — carry an inherent risk of serious bodily injury, death, and property damage that no listing, description, or precaution can eliminate. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks when you engage with any horse, horse seller, show, or equine activity found through the Service.

WARNING: You assume the risk of equine activities pursuant to Pennsylvania law.

5. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of animal welfare, sale, or advertising laws;
  • post fraudulent, misleading, spam, or duplicate listings, or misrepresent a horse, show, or business;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, including uploading photos or videos you do not have rights to;
  • harvest, scrape, or bulk-export listings or contact details, or use them for unsolicited marketing;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — malware, probing, penetration testing, credential stuffing, or circumventing access controls or usage limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the listings, text, photos, and videos you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You confirm you have the rights needed to grant that license.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@findahorseshow.com with the listing URL and details of the claim. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the content. Repeat infringers lose access.

We may remove, restrict, or decline to display any content or listing at our discretion — for example if it is unlawful, misleading, off-topic, or breaches these terms.

8. Our intellectual property

We own the Service and everything in it other than user content — the software, design, database structure, compiled directory data, documentation, and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected, and nothing more.

9. Service level

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may cause downtime. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes

Paid service provider listings are sold as monthly or annual subscriptions and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, renewal, and cancellation mechanics are handled by our reseller and are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel or change payment details at any time from your dashboard. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy 30 days from the order date.

11. Reseller and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access — with notice where practical — for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

When access ends, your listings stop being displayed. You can request an export of your listing data within 30 days of termination, after which we may delete it in line with our Privacy Notice.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or loss of goodwill. This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your listings, your dealings with other users, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms. This indemnity is in addition to, and not limited by, the release and assumption-of-risk provisions in Section 4.

15. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be heard exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms stay in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. If we change these terms materially, we will update the date above and, where the change affects paid subscriptions, notify subscribers by email.
